Welche (äußerliche?) Eigenschaft würde man wohl einer Frau zuordnen, die "Misty" genannt wird?

Ausgehend von der eigentlichen Bedeutung von "misty" - neblig, dunstig, diesig -, würde ich das personenbezogen mit - geheimnisvoll, undurchschaubar, unergründlich- interpretieren.
Im Netz war dazu u.a. folgendes zu finden:

So kann man’s natürlich auch sehen.
Persönlich könnte ich mich mit dem Namen nicht anfreunden, da ich ihn sofort mit "Mist" assoziiere.

"Misty" is not only a nickname, but also a legitimate first name for girls --- and, yes, cats. It is based on the word "mist" and means "slightly foggy", which explains why people usually don't have the "foggiest" notion of why they bear such a name or other . Fortunately, no one ever thinks of linking it to the German "Mist". The fact that girls have to share the name with cats might be a subtle hint as to its felt connotations. Here is a revealing comment on the name that I found in a forum on first names:
"Reminds me of a 1980's teeni-bopper who dreams about rainbows, riding horses, and Carebears all day. Who paints her dog's nails pink and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up, only she is so vapid and silly, she just ends up getting married right out of high school. Not a very good adult name, in my opinion. Okay nickname for a little girl."

Famose Recherche... Es gab mal eine Film-Akteuse, die sich "Misty Rowe" nannte. Rein äußerlich erfüllte die alle aufgelisteten Attribute.

P.S. Ich weiß nicht, ob es auch schon aufgefallen ist, aber das System behauptet, der neueste User in unserem Kreise höre auf den Namen "dzzhgjybdq". Verscheißern kann ich mich alleine!
